5TH PCMMA AWARDEES

Famous director and screenplay writer Antoinette Jadaone became the first recipient of Servus Dei Award for Media given by Pasig Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara, D.D. on the occasion of the 5th Pasig Catholic Mass Media Awards at the new Pasig Catholic College Centennial Building Auditorium last October 21, 2017.

The Servus Dei Award for Media is the Diocese of Pasig’s way of giving recognition to professional media practitioners residing in the Diocese of Pasig for their contributions to society through media productions imbued with Christian and positive Filipno values.

Jadaone, popularly dubbed as the “Blockbuster Hugot Director of the Philippines” is known for directing “That thing called Tadhana”, “Relaks”, “It’s just Pag-ibig” and other films that touch on love and life.

Meanwhile, St. Anne Shrine bagged first place in the First Pocket Filmmaking Contest while the Parishes of Immaculate Conception Karangalan and Our Lady of the Poor got 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
