Brotherhood of Priests welcome Fr. Glenn

“Ang pinaka-pinasasalamatan ko bukod sa lahat ay ang aking Ama sapagkat siya ang naghatid sa akin sa Seminaryo. Sayang nga lang sapagkat wala na siya para mamasdan ang katuparan ng aming pangarap…” said Fr. Glenn. “Kapag tinanong ako ng mga ka-batch ko kung bakit tumagal ang aking ‘ordination’ ang simpleng sagot ko ay, ‘Formator at Rector ng Seminaryo ang Obispo ko…'” he adds.

PASIG CITY. The Diocese of Pasig Brotherhood of Priests welcomed Rev. Fr. Glenn B. Gaabucayan to their fold on the day of his Presbyteral Ordination held at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Diocese of Pasig last July 31, 2017.

Rev. Fr. Glenn, a native of Zamboanga, was the third priest ordained in the Diocese of Pasig by His Excellency Most Rev. Mylo Hubert C. Vergara, D.D., Bishop of Pasig.

Fr. Glenn was born on January 19, 1986 with parents Wilmena Gaabucayan and Danilo Gaabucayan. His siblings were Danwil Gaabucayan, Maryrose Gaabucayan, Louiel Gaabucayan, and Mila Gaabucayan.

He graduated from Doña Consuelo Elementary School, Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades, and at St. Camillus College Seminary. He is an alumnus of Divine Word School of Theology.

He expressed his gratefulness toward Rev. Fr. Mandy Litana, parish priest of Sta Clara de Montefalco, Diocese of Pasig for serving as his guardian priest throughout his journey to priesthood. Fr. Manny was like a father to Fr. Glenn.

Rev Fr. Mariano Baranda announced his first assignment as Parochial Vicar of San Roque Parish in Pateros, Diocese of Pasig.
