FOUR MEN CITED FOR THE TIMELY COMPLETION OF Santo Niño De Taguig Parish FORMATION CENTER
Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Daniel Estacio and Pasig Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara awarded a certificate of appreciation and a special Sto. Niño commemorative tile to four men who were instrumental in the timely construction and completion of the new 4-storey formation center of Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish.
The award was given shortly after the thanksgiving mass presided over by His Excellency Bishop Vergara held in the parish last Saturday (Aug. 5).
Fr. Estacio thanked the four men, who were all present to receive the award, for their selfless dedication and valuable contribution.
The four awardees were Architect Ronnie Pagkalinawan, Engineer Dos Tabrilla, Labor Contractor Bro. Loloy Sampelo and Project Manager Erlo Anoos. The three, namely, Pagkalinawan, Tabrilla and Anoos volunteered to give their services for free.
Fr. Estacio expressed his gratitude for the professional expertise given by the project’s architect and engineer, labor contractor and project manager. Their work included the getting of needed permits from the city hall, soil analysis, structural plan, materials inventory, construction, inspection, project overseeing and many other volunteer work. He also thanked all the generous suppliers who gave discounts on the construction materials they needed for the center.
The parish priest acknowledged all the other people who helped in making the parish dream a reality. He recognized the presence of all the Reyna Juana candidates of 2016 and 2017 who started the fund-raising for the project, all the generous benefactors who gave donations through the solicitation letters sent out by the parish, and the numerous parish pledgers who pledged support for one year, starting August 2016 to July 2017.
He thanked all the parish officers, Execom, Parish Pastoral Council, and all the parish organizations including the Construction Ministry for their untiring commitment to the parish projects. He also thanked the support of the local officials of Barangay Signal Village and Taguig City.
He also expressed his gratitude to Bishop Vergara for taking the time out of his busy schedule to join them in the joyous event.
And lastly, he paid homage to the Sto. Niño for the bountiful blessings received by the parish, saying all their joys and dreams will not come true without the blessings of Sto.
The formation center completed the twin project of the parish, including the beautiful altar retablo constructed early this year as part of the Sto. Niño de Taguig’s 30th parish anniversary celebration. ###
