Parish Got Talent

The quasi –parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will hold its youth activity titled “Parish got Talent, Season 2), from May 12 to June 23, 2012, with is dubbed as the “Fiesta Cultural Night”.
Only its parishioners with a minimal number of outsiders, e.g., 4 is to 3, are allowed to join the contest, which is projected to showcase the talents of the Parish.

The data below shows the rules of the contest.  Fr. Bernie Carpio is the Parish Administrator of this quasi-parish.

PARISH GOT TALENT SEASON 2
YOUTH ACTIVITY
Target Dates: May 12 to June 23, 2012 (FIESTA CULTURAL NIGHT)
RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  1. Only Parishioners are allowed (Outsiders are allowed in the MINORITY of Members)

Sample:  7 MEMBERS IN A GROUP
– 4 Parishioners
– 3 Outsiders

  1. Have an INTERESTING TALENT
  2. Have Parents Consent (especially for non-legal age)
  3. Can be a group of not more than 15 members
  4. Maximum of six (6) minutes each performer/s.
  5. Have a MANAGER
    1. By means of communication from organizers to contestants
    2. Must not be a member of the group
    3. Communication must be through landline, personal and cellphone calls (Txt messages can be used in case of emergency)
    4. Must follow CENSORSHIP in violent and other malicious acts in their said talent
    5. Must fully coordinate with the committee/organizers of the said program
    6. BARANGAY CLEARANCE for every members of the group (Outsiders are excepted)
    7. One representative per MPK during the grand finals
    8. Winners of LAST SEASON would not beallowed to join this season but still they can perform as guests
    9. Any VIOLATION on the RULES AND REGULATIONS is considered a major offense and immediately be disqualified and striped off from any STATUS/PRIZES in the contest “IF” proven GUILTY

 

PGT SEASON 2 MECHANICS

FIRST STAGE: APPLICATION FORM

  1. The Form will be available 1 week of the said audition date
    1. Fee of P5.00 (for printing cost)
    2. Each member of the group need to fill up accordingly the application form
    3. The form will ask basic information such as:
      1. Name
      2. Complete address
      3. MPK
      4. Name of MPK Coordinator (with Contact details)
      5. Name of Group
      6. Name of Manager (with contact details)
      7. The group must be with in the area of Purok under the Jurisdiction of the Parish (Other purok groups can join only if approved by the group of person assigned in the venue)
      8. Every form must have a barangay clearance attach to it(outsiders are excepted)
      9. A Committee will be formed to check the validity of the form
      10. Submission of application forms must be 3 days before the said auditions (during Wednesdays evening’s novena) NOTE: disqualification for late submission.
      11. Those who are qualified will be contacted through txt message from

0939-798-7595 OR 0915-341-0112 during Fridays before the audition dates.

SECOND STAGE: AUDITION

  1. The said auditions will be held in the parish grounds
  2. Audition Fees:
    1. Php100.00 –  for solo, duo up to three man group
    2. Php250.00 –  for group of 4 up to 15 members
    3. There will be three sector:
      1. North side (Purok 5, Dimson, Purok 7 and Proper Tanyag)
      2. South side (Purok 11, Pruok 6b and 6c, Purok 13 and Purok 14)
      3. Central (PV1 and PV10)
      4. Bring your own instruments/props.
      5. Audition schedule will be as follows:
        1. May 12                8:00 am to 12:00 nn             6B & 6C
        2. May 12                2:00 pm to 6:00 pm              Dimson & Purok 5
        3. May 13                2:00 pm to 6:00 pm              Purok 13
        4. May 19                8:00 am to 5:00 pm              Purok 7
        5. May 20                2:00 pm to 6:00 pm              Purok 14
        6. May 26                8:00 am to 12:00 nn             Purok 11
        7. May 26                2:00 pm to 6:00 pm              Proper Tanyag
        8. June 02               2:00 pm to 5:30 pm              PV 1 and PV 10
        9. Every contestant will be allowed to join 1(once) in every sector.
        10. Every chapel will choose only 1 winner that will represent their respective chapels (MPK) by using their chapel’s name during grand finals.

  1. Criteria for judging will be:
    1. 40% – Originality
    2. 30% – Synchronization/Harmony
    3. 20% – Stage Presence
    4. 10% – Costume

THIRD STAGE: POPULARITY TICKET

  1. A meeting will be held on the parish on June 03, 2012 at 11:00 am
  2. The ticketing system will be explained
  3. The ticket will be recognized as audience impact (40% of final score in the grand finals)
  4. Each ticket will be sold for 5.00 pesos only
  5. A quota of 500 pieces per finalist
  6. In the ticket will be:
    1. Full Name:
    2. Address/MPK:
    3. Parish:
    4. Signature:

FINAL STAGE: FINALS

  1. TARGET DATE: JUNE 23, 2012
  2. The Finals will be held in PV10 Basketball Court
  3. The criteria for the “JUDGES” will be composed of:
    1. Outsider (Unbiased decision)
    2. Field in Arts (Credibility of judging)
    3. Not seen any part of the event.
    4. Maximum of six (6) minutes each performer/s.
    5. Criteria for judging will be:
      1. 40%  Audience impact (popularity ticket)
      2. 60%  Judges decision
      3. Announcing of winners will be 30 minutes after the presentation of last contestant.
      4. The prizes will be:
        1.   CHAMPION:      Php8,000.00
        2. 1st runner up:     Php5,000.00
        3. 2nd runner up:    Php2,000.00
        4. The winner will represent our parish in future projects in VYCSN and/or DIOCESAN LEVEL
