“A Christmas routine” – By Bishop Mylo

The Bishop’s Christmas routine

My Christmas Day routine is to visit the sick and elderly. Ms. Anita San Juan should have been my first visit. But I was surprised to see her attending my first mass at the cathedral today. She is already 95 years old and was the former English teacher of my mom who is now 84 years old. Ms. San Juan is cared by her sister Dory who is also a senior citizen. What great act of love shown by a younger sister who needs caring too. I gave both of them Holy Communion and prayed over them for their intentions.

I visited and prayed over Tita Laching Raymundo, one of our dedicated and active servants of Pasig Cathedral Parish. She will have her first dialysis session today. She told me that she is in the process of living a more contemplative life as her service to the Church given her ailment. Whatever the circumstance, service is a lifetime commitment. Continue inspiring us, Tita Laching

My visit to Fr. Kees Swinkles, MSC. He is 89 years old and my confessor. Had confession with him today.
