ICC PPCRV assist voters in Bambang Polling Precincts

The ICC PPCRV volunteers assisted the Bambang electorates to locate easily their pre-assigned precincts, helped monitor the election process in the precincts and secured a copy of the official election returns last May 9,2016 at the Bambang Elementary School, Pasig City.

Ms. Agnes Cruz, PPCRV Precinct Manager effectively managed the facilitation procedures for the electorates with the help of the PPCRV volunteers joined by the Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).

Bro. Eli Tajodloy, Bambang Sub-Parish Pastoral Council coordinator rendered his full support to the volunteers by providing the water dispenser, mineral water and coffee.

Fr. Joselito I. Jopson, parish priest and rector of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral (ICC) dropped by to personally to thank the volunteers. He visited the four polling precincts where the ICC-PPCRV and Media Minister volunteers were deployed.

Fr. Bernie Carpio, priest director of the ICC Catechetical and Education Ministries, likewise came to give support to the PPCRV volunteers.

Several Vote Counting Machines (VCMs) bogged down but was immediately repaired by the VCM Technicians. A number of electorates were unable to find their names in the official voters list. The PPCRV volunteers made reports of the situation at hand for submission to Diocesan PPCRV Center which will forward the same to the COMELEC.

No election offense was filed and the proceedings were generally peaceful.
